Let me introduce myself, I’m the creator behind Demonology 3D.
Just before Covid I broke my knee whilst walking my mum’s dog. This left me immobile, bored silly, unable to do much of anything.
3D printers were just becoming popular for home use, with a friend having just bought one. He was waxing lyrical about its capabilities. He had me hooked! Following some research, I bought my first printer…
Initially I was printing all the usual mundane objects, toys etc — every man and his dog does that. My true passion is the quirky and unusual. Building on this, I have developed my line to include comic‑con, steampunk, sci‑fi and fantasy. I also make cosplay masks which can be worn or make fantastic wall decorations.
More recently I have discovered Hueforge pictures; art that actually comes to life — more than a mere framed picture, a conversation starter.
As I become more experienced I am starting to do my own designs. For example, I was recently commissioned to design plastic lens caps for an astronomer.
Even my own mother commissioned me to make pet memorials for her SmithiesKid page.
My latest project is learning how to turn photos into personalised Hueforge picture
